David Michaux was born in Dallas, Texas.  He lived there for 7 years until his family moved to Colorado Springs.

He came to know Christ when he was 12 years old after seeing the change in his father’s life following his conversion.  Dave and his wife Lynn, have two married children and 5 grandchildren.  He worked for Colorado Springs Christian Schools for 45 years until retiring in 2018.

He was hired initially as a Bible Teacher for the High School and then served as Pastoral Counselor, Dean of Students, High School Principal, and finally School Chaplain. He was then asked to serve as the Chaplain Emeritus for the school.

He has always considered himself to be a servant of the Lord and was willing to help in any area that he has been called on to help the school and its mission.

Dave has served as an elder in different churches.  He has had an extensive Bible Camp ministry in the summers.  It has been his privilege to speak to many different groups in addition to his church ministry.  He has ministered the Word in Mexico, Canada, Jamaica, Ireland, Kazakhstan as well as in many churches around the States.

His two favorite verses regarding ministry have been:
